Ask The Artist Anything

Ask the Artist Anything is an annual offering from Bree Stallings, Director of Artistic Experience at Blumenthal Arts during Charlotte International Arts Festival. This experience is geared towards artists and those in the creative sector to meet and learn from internationally touring installation artists. You will learn from Luke Jerram (Bristol, UK), the creator of Gaia and Of Earth and Sky alongside Keith Tucker (Melbourne, AU) Director of Megafun (a public art and major events agency as they talk about their careers. This is a time to bring those "201" kinds of questions as the artists will be sharing about how they grew their production houses, managed hiring staff to increase output and how they navigate the fine line between client-commissioned work and studio-driven ideas on an international level. 

After the event, all participants will walk down to Stage 1 at Blume Studios to see Gaia, Of Earth and Sky and Groundswell in person. Each audience member will also receive a voucher to come back to experience Space Explorers: The Infinite once it is open.
